Schedule the movers, the new sanctuary for Bay Street Baptist Church is nearing completion!
H. J. High is now completing the installation of flooring, painting, cabinetry, and wall finishes at the new sanctuary. While this aspect of the work signals the project is almost finished, it is an even more important milestone for Bay Street. When the project commenced the church was unsure whether their budget would allow for these finishes as part of construction of the facility. H. J. High aggressively managed costs throughout the subcontract award and work execution phases, and combined with contributions by an excited and generous congregation the church was able to finish the entire build out as they had hoped. We are proud to have been able to work in close association with church leaders to build the facility they intended.
We anticipate completing final inspections in the next week and receiving a Certificate of Occupancy by the end of the month!

We are entering the final months of construction at Bay Street Baptist Church. All site work and paving has been completed with the installation of the septic field finishing up. The cross was raised just before Christmas on the exterior and is easily visible from the road. Inside we have finished all framing and drywall installation allowing the painter to work on the walls and ceiling. All ductwork and lighting has been installed. The church has authorized the installation of finishes that will commence at the end of January. Bay Street Baptist will utilize a crew of volunteers to install the irrigation and landscaping beginning the first week of February.
Excitement from the congregation and community is growing as the project nears completion.

Construction began in early July for the new Bay Street Baptist Church in Eustis, Florida. To date, the site has been cleared, one of the retention ponds has been excavated and fill has been placed for the building pad and the areas adjacent to the building.
In August, the foundations were placed, underground piping and conduit were installed for the plumbing and electrical systems and the floor slab was poured.
The Steel Building and roof deck are due to arrive and be erected beginning in mid September.
Check back weekly for updates!
