Daytona State College Begins New Building

High Construction, a 77 year old Orlando based construction management company, has begun construction on Daytona State College’s 24,000 square foot Building #3 at the Flagler/Palm Coast campus. The state-of-the-art building will enhance students’ learning experiences and opportunities in Flagler County.


$25 Million Fun Spot Attractions Expansion Completed in Six Months

ORLANDO, Fla. (May 28, 2013) – Fun Spot Attractions’ new 10 acre expansion is now open to the public and “It’s HUGE!”. The project, completed by Orlando-based design-builder H. J. High Construction Company, includes two new roller coasters, a 250’ SkyCoaster, 30 amusement rides, new entry building, new restroom building, and a new food service building with a full restaurant. The $25 million project was completed in an astounding six months.

First Baptist Church Windermere Breaks Ground on New Children’s Building

High Construction, a 77 year old Orlando based design-build company, has begun construction on First Baptist Church Windermere’s 10,000 square foot Children’s Building at the Lakeside Campus. The additional facility will support the expanding children’s program and weekday preschool and is located in the fast growing area of southwest Orange County.


Bar Harbor Seafood Expands, Bringing New Jobs and Larger Product Inventory

ORLANDO, Fla. (January 9, 2013) – Bar Harbor Seafood announces the completion of the 18,000 square foot expansion to their existing 21,000 square foot facility in Orlando. Constructed by Orlando based design-build contractor H. J. High Construction, the expansion included the latest in cold storage design and was completed in six months. The additional room for storage and the increased operational efficiencies in product handling will add ten additional jobs in receiving and warehousing.
