We manage every step so we can build better buildings.
The Florida Hospital Diagnostic and Treatment Facility Construction and Renovations project was the first project in Central Florida to utilize the Construction Management delivery method of building. This method was new not only to us but to the architect as well. We knew if we put our minds together, we could prove our ability to tackle this new type of work. Steve High, Paul Gips (our former Vice President) and the architect went into “huddle mode” for several days and figured it out. And it turned out to be a great success for everyone involved.
Florida Hospital was so pleased with our work that we were again awarded another project with them. This larger and more involved 11-story high-rise undertaking with Architect Schweizer and Associates featured 156 medical/surgery rooms, 64 critical care unit rooms, a new pharmacy, a therapy and rehabilitation center and administrative areas.
“Effective construction management is the cornerstone for success in every project we do.”
The process of Construction Management ended up changing, streamlining and vastly improving our whole work method. Today, it is the cornerstone for success in every project we do. Because we have always been a hands-on company at the core, construction management is, of course, a natural fit for us. Effective construction management allows us to control everything we touch, to better communicate with our clients, and to anticipate and mitigate any issues that may arise.
