WESH-TV is by far the most technological television and broadcast station in Florida. Built for future expansion and technology advancements, it is state-of-the-art even today after having been built over eight (8) years ago. Just a few of the outstanding features are as follows:  Two (2) television broadcast rooms, super flat floors, extremely efficient A/C duct silencers, all HVAC on vibration absorbers for sound control, super sound proofing, satellite dishes for all transmissions and downloading of programs.  All dishes wired to main computer room with many spare conduits for the future.  Production room floors elevated to afford flexibility in wiring.  Computer room HVAC in addition to building HVAC.  Emergency generators to run entire station.  A 220-foot slipped formed transmission tower to allow micro-wave transmission to main tower in Orange City.  All cabling from tower to control room shielded in stainless steel tubing.  Shielding of radio transmissions.  Building wired for computers and broadcast capabilities with many spare conduits put in for future capabilities.  Heliport to meet FAA regulations
