Ormond Beach Middle School Phase 2

H. J. High Construction Company has broken ground on Phase 2 of the Ormond Beach Middle School project.  This second phase of three planned phases includes demolition of approximately 65,000 s.f. of buildings and construction of a new cafeteria building and campus chiller plant.  The 40,000 s.f. cafeteria building includes central receiving, kitchen, serving lines, dining area, stage area, band room, choral room and exterior dining area.  The campus chiller plant will provide heating and cooling and power distribution to the entire campus.  Construction is expected to begin in January, 2010, with an estimated project completion of April, 2011.
